Get Berkshire Active Awards

On Friday 10th February 2017 the 5th annual Get Berkshire Active Awards took place at the Hilton Hotel in Reading, recognising the people that have excelled in a sport or physical activity setting during the previous year. The Get Berkshire Active Awards not only recognises sporting excellence, but also those who make sport or physical activity happen in the local community.

The event saw 13 people, organisations and clubs receive awards and was attended by Olympians, Paralympians, Mayors, and the award nominees. This year saw a very special guest attend the Get Berkshire Active Awards. Giselle Ansley the Olympic Gold Medal winning hockey star was in attendance and inspired the guests during her Q & A on stage.
