About Bracknell Baseball & Softball Club

Bracknell Baseball & Softball Club were formed by a group of like-minded enthusiasts in 1992.

In its formative years the focus was on simply generating a baseball presence in both the local community and in competitive league play.

With an influx of young players at the start of the 2000's, a youth programme for baseball was created, and from this start 7 National Championships were won in consecutive years at 17U & 14U.

In 2009 with a number of years of playing at the very highest level in British Baseball, the NBL - National Baseball League, Bracknell won the Adult National Championship.

With the occasional foray into Softball over the years, the club finally entered a competitive team into the Windsor & Maidenhead District Mixed Softball League in 2013.

We play home games for both sports at Westmorland Park, Warfield, RG42 3QP, on a purpose built diamond with huge support from Bracknell Forest Borough Council and from Warfield Parish Council. Away games can be anywhere form Farnham Park (Softball) to Harlow, Essex (Baseball).

Although predominantly summer sports, we endeavour to practise and play for as much as the weather and ground conditions allow.

Our age ranges are from 6 to over 50 (currently), always with a view to include anyone and everyone in some capacity. Our membership in 2013 is around 60.
