Berkshire Crime Prevention Forum

The forum will bring together police and crime prevention agencies with the third sector, enabling these two groups to connect and discuss ways to collaborate on this agenda. It will provide the context for the drivers of crime such as ACE's (Adverse Childhood Experiences), focussing on early intervention, young people and how sport can play a part in crime prevention.

The forum will take place on Wednesday 3rd July 2019 at Sindlesham Court 12noon-4.30pm. There will be opportunities to network and lunch will be provided.

The focus will be "Tackling the causes of the causes of crime" and we are delighted to confirm the following influential keynote speakers:

  • Superintendent Stan Gilmour, LPA Commander, Reading
  • Cath Marriott, Policy Development – Partnerships and Performance, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner – Thames Valley
  • Nick West-Oram, Head of Development & Insight, Get Berkshire Active
