Supporting Transgender Students in PE
Trans young people struggle to access sport and physical education for a number of reasons. In this workshop, we will explore what it means to be transgender, the barriers faced in PE and sporting activities and how you can best support trans students in your lessons and clubs so they feel safe and included. Created and delivered by young people and staff from CAMHS and Mack Mclean from Rainbow Bedfordshire. This will be an online session, with plenty of opportunities to have discussions and ask questions in a safe space without judgement for saying the ‘wrong thing’
