Glasspool Charity Trust

The Glasspool Trust is one of the few national charities making small grants to individuals in need, which has no restrictions on the type of beneficiary. The usual aim of the grant is to help the beneficiary over a short term crisis. We do not accept applications directly from individual members of the public. Only organisations that meet our criteria are eligible to apply.

Sedgemoor District Council Grants

up to £2,500

The District Council wants to fund projects that fit into the broad themes of Community, Environment, Arts and Sports within the local community (residents of Sedgemoor).

South Somerset District Council Community Grants

£100 to £12,500

We have long had a tradition of supporting communities and the local voluntary and community sector.

The principal way that we provide this support is through funding third party voluntary sector support services, and through our own community grants programme.

Frome Activities and Sports Trust Grant

The aim is to enable access to sports and activities for all (young, old, sporty, not at all sporty etc!).

Somerset Community Foundation Grants

£250 to £5,000

Somerset Community Foundation manages over 84 different funds on behalf of individuals, companies, and local government. Most of the grants that are made from these funds are called Foundation Grants. They are awarded every three months by a panel of local people.

Sport England - Toyota Parasport Fund

£1,000 to £5,000

Sport England have partnered with Toyota and British Paralympic Association to provide this new opportunity to help ensure that when disabled people are active, they have access to quality equipment to help give them the best possible experience. This round is looking at equipment.

Power to Change - Community Business Crowdmatch

up to £6,000

The Community Business Crowdmatch fund is delivered by Crowdfunder and funded by Power to Change. This exciting programme to local communities to raise much needed money to bring new community businesses to life and support existing businesses by providing match funding for money raised.

Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund

£1,000 to £10,000

The Premier League and The FA Facilities Fund Small Grants Scheme awards grants of up to £10,000 for the provision of capital items, or to refurbish/improve existing facilities. The aims of this scheme are to: Support the growth of football clubs and activity, Prevent a decline in football participation and Make improvements to facilities to address any health and safety issues.
