Get Berkshire Active Together Fund (formerly Tackling Inequalities Fund)
On behalf of Sport England, GBA will be distributing funding to community organisations who support the following vulnerable groups to be active: Lower socio-economic groups, People with long term conditions, People with disabilities, Ethnically diverse communities
Foyle Foundation Small Grants Scheme
£1,000 to £10,000
Our Small Grants Scheme is designed to support charities registered and operating in the United Kingdom, especially those working at grass roots and local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities.
Glasspool Charity Trust
The Glasspool Trust is one of the few national charities making small grants to individuals in need, which has no restrictions on the type of beneficiary. The usual aim of the grant is to help the beneficiary over a short term crisis. We do not accept applications directly from individual members of the public. Only organisations that meet our criteria are eligible to apply.
Sedgemoor District Council Grants
up to £2,500
The District Council wants to fund projects that fit into the broad themes of Community, Environment, Arts and Sports within the local community (residents of Sedgemoor).
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation Youth Work Grant
£10,000 to £60,000
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) has a grant fund of £25m a year until 2021 and £4m a year has been set aside for projects focused on helping marginalised young people. Youth work organisations can apply to two new funds - a Youth Fund and a Growth Fund. The Youth Fund will provide grants of between £10,000 and £60,000 to go towards core operating costs.
South Somerset District Council Community Grants
£100 to £12,500
We have long had a tradition of supporting communities and the local voluntary and community sector.
The principal way that we provide this support is through funding third party voluntary sector support services, and through our own community grants programme.
Gift Aid Small Donations (CASC)
You can claim back 25p every time an individual donates £1 to your charity or community amateur sports club (CASC). This is called Gift Aid.
Frome Activities and Sports Trust Grant
The aim is to enable access to sports and activities for all (young, old, sporty, not at all sporty etc!).
Waitrose Community Matters
£100 to £300
Community Matters is an initiative to enable Waitrose branches to support local communities and application forms can be found on the front of the Community Matters token collection points in Waitrose Branches.
Grants are available for: Welfare organisations, community groups, clubs, schools, local divisions of national charities, local charities

#ProjectSwish is Basketball England’s mission to improve outdoor basketball courts across England.
Whizz-Kidz
up to £3,000
Whizz-Kidz provides a range of mobility equipment to children with disabilities, to give them independence at home, at school and at play.
Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund
up to £2,000
Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund grants are awarded from the earnings of a number of endowment funds, which are created from contributions by individuals, companies and trusts and managed by Heart of England Community Foundation.
Hays Travel Foundation
Grants are available for registered charities and local causes which help young people to achieve their potential within areas where Hays Travel have a branch.
Must be working in one of the following areas: Education, prevention of poverty, health, arts & culture and sports

The Woodward Charitable Trust look to fund projects that help families and young people and that are aiming to improve the life chances of the beneficiaries.
Joanna Brown Trust
£100 to £1,000
The Joanna Brown Trust provides talented young athletes from across the UK with financial support to help them excel in their chosen sports.
In addition to our funding partnerships with Sport Islington and Sports Aid, The Joanna Brown Trust welcomes applications for grant funding from young people participating in sport.
To apply for a grant from The Joanna Brown Trust please send an email or letter outlining why you should be awarded a grant, how you would use it and how it would benefit you in your chosen sport.
Sport for Change Coach Funding
Full funding is available for coaching qualifications as part of a Sport for Change project in the Lakenham and Tuckswood area of Norwich.
gbpartnerships Community Fund
up to £2,000
The gbpartnerships Community Fund focuses on health, education, empowerment and raising people’s skills and aspirations.
Sport England’s New Major Event Volunteer Fund
£10,000 to £100,000
This fund has been set up to pilot ways to overcome the barriers people face when they consider making the transition from volunteering at major events to local grassroots volunteering.
The Hargreaves Foundation
The Hargreaves Foundation will distribute approximately £2 million per annum to organisations seeking funding to support those under the age of 18, and living with a mental health problem, physical disability or growing up in poverty through the mediums of sport and education.
Persimmon Community Champions
up to £1,000
Persimmon Community Champions is here to help local community groups, good causes and charities and can donate up to £1000 to local UK groups and charities, which have already raised vital funds themselves.
The Eveson Charitable Trust
up to £15,000
The Eveson Charitable Trust is a regional Trust that only funds registered charities that are delivering projects that benefit people living in the West Midlands. In their eyes the West Midlands is classed as Herfordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Walsall.
