Get Berkshire Active Together Fund (formerly Tackling Inequalities Fund)
On behalf of Sport England, GBA will be distributing funding to community organisations who support the following vulnerable groups to be active: Lower socio-economic groups, People with long term conditions, People with disabilities, Ethnically diverse communities
Lloyd Cowan Bursary
up to £500
The Lloyd Cowan Bursary will support the next generation of UK athletes by awarding grants of up to £500 once a year. They will be available to coaches, and to unfunded athletes, aged 16-23, for whom cost is a barrier to accessing developmental opportunities in athletics.
AED Donate Defibrillator Funding
AED Donate are looking to support communities across the UK by helping to increase the defibrillator provision and ensuring all communities are better protected in the event of a cardiac arrest.
Backing The Best
• Backing the Best has been developed to support talented young athletes who, because of their family's financial situation, might not get the opportunity to fulfil their sporting potential.
• Backing the Best will help England to develop talent from areas that it might otherwise miss out on. It will help athletes with limited resources realise their potential without having to worry about petrol costs, hotel stays, kit, or even the most basic tools – such as trainers or the right food and nutrition.
• Priority for disabled athletes, females and those from BME backgrounds.
Severn Trent Community Fund
up to £200,000
Severn Trent will be giving away more than £10million over the next five years to support new projects by local charities and community groups in the Severn Trent region - helping to make a real and tangible difference in our communities.
The Merchants House of Glasgow
£500 to £10,000
Grants up to £10,000 are available to voluntary organisations working within and around Glasgow for a wide range of projects including arts, culture, education, health and social care. The grants committee considers online applications every quarter
Carriers for Causes
up to £2,000
Grants of up to £2,000 available to give good causes within a two mile radius of a One Stop store. The grants will be available to support projects that benefit local communities - helping to improve lives and local places.
National Lottery Awards for All England
£300 to £10,000
A quick way to apply for smaller amounts of funding between £300 and £10,000.
National Lottery Fund - Partnerships
£10,000
This programme offers a larger amount of funding (over £10,000) for organisations that work together with a shared set of goals to help their community thrive - whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.
Bowls England Coaching Bursary
Coaching Bursary Scheme to assist members of affiliated clubs who wish to obtain a Coach Bowls qualification.
Captain Scott Society - Spirit of Adventure Award
up to £2,500
The scheme is intended to support groups undertaking adventurous endeavours. In particular, the scheme wishes to fund adventurous "firsts", which have not previously been attempted.

£500 to £10,000
National Lottery Awards for All offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.
Club Cricket Charity Defib Fund
The Club Cricket Charity in partnership with the ECB, have supplied and distributed over 300 portable units to cricket teams and clubs across the UK. The charges through, supply partner The Community Heartbeat Trust, are at a huge discount to real costs.
The Rob George Foundation
The Rob George Foundation provides practical and/or financial support to young people with life threatening or terminal illness and to young people who demonstrate exceptional commitment and/or ability in the worlds of sport or the performing arts but may be held back by their financial situation from pursuing their goals.
The Healthy Communities Together programme
up to £3,000,000
This programme offers up to £3 million of grant funding (over three years) to empower voluntary and community sector organisations to work together with the local health and care sector to boost the health and wellbeing of their communities.
Morrisons Foundation
up to £20,000
Grants are available to registered charities for new projects which will improve people's lives in the UK
SEPA Scottish Landfill Communities Fund
The Scottish Landfill Communities Fund (SLCF) is a tax credit scheme, linked to Scottish Landfill Tax that encourages landfill site operators to provide contributions to Approved Bodies, who can then pass the funds onto community and environmental projects. The SLCF replaced the UK scheme in Scotland on 01 April 2015.
Foyle Foundation: Main Grants Scheme
up to £500,000
The Main Grants Scheme supports charities registered and operating in the United Kingdom, the dominant purpose of which is to benefit either the Arts or Learning. Please note that we do not support applications from
individuals.
