On behalf of Sport England, GBA will be distributing funding to community organisations who support the following vulnerable groups to be active: Lower socio-economic groups, People with long term conditions, People with disabilities, Ethnically diverse communities
Peter Stormonth Darling Charitable Trust Grant
£1,000 to £10,000
Grant for charitable organisations carrying out social welfare activities in the UK. In particular, the scheme wishes to support projects with the following themes. Medical, the arts, sports, heritage and education.
Percy Bilton Charity - Grants for Organisations
up to £5,000
Grants are made to organisations in need throughout the U.K.
In Kind Direct
This is one of The Prince’s Charities set up to support charities and non-for-profit organisations with donated goods. Goods range from cleaning products, Sports equipment, clothes, toys and a range of other items that can be used to run services and give to the people you support.
Get Kids Going!
£500 to £15,000
Get Kids Going! is a National charity which provides disabled children and young people up to 26 years with the funding for specialist sports wheelchairs to enable them to participate in disability sports.
CSSC Sports & Leisure - Activity Subsidy Scheme
up to £20
CSSC Sports & Leisure - Activity Subsidy Scheme offers financial assistance for members to undertake activities that meet the scheme's criteria.
CSSC Sports & Leisure - Training Subsidy Scheme
up to £75
The Scheme provides a guaranteed level of reimbursement against fees for accredited training to assist them become a sports coach, referee, umpire or other official.
England Golf Trust - Angela Uzielli fund
£1,250 to £1,500
The Bursaries will be awarded to promising girl golfers who wish to further their education at University or College, within the British Isles, after school academic year 12, and at the same time continue to develop their golfing skills. They should be of English nationality by birth or have either parent of English nationality, or have been resident in England for the last two years. The Bursaries are to provide financial assistance for educational expenses of girls in further education.
Bowls England Development Loan
up to £20,000
Development Loans are available for Bowls clubs affiliated with Bowls England and relates to any item such as clubhouse improvements, fencing, car parks and changing rooms and loans of up to £20,000 (free of interest), repayable over up to eight years, are available.
Central Social & Recreational Trust Grant
up to £1,000
The CSRT aims to improve the conditions of boys and girls under the age of 21 and of all other persons by reason of their poverty who would otherwise be unable to obtain facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupations.
Morrisons Foundation
up to £20,000
Grants are available to registered charities for new projects which will improve people's lives in the UK
Whizz-Kidz
up to £3,000
Whizz-Kidz provides a range of mobility equipment to children with disabilities, to give them independence at home, at school and at play.
Gift Aid Small Donations (CASC)
You can claim back 25p every time an individual donates £1 to your charity or community amateur sports club (CASC). This is called Gift Aid.
