The Hedley Foundation Grants
£250 to £5,000
The Hedley Foundation provides grants to smaller charities operating across the spectrum of social need.
Alec Dickson Trust
up to £500
The Alec Dickson Trust supports young people (under 30) in the UK who want to use volunteering or community service to do brilliant things in their communities.
Henry Smith Charity - Improving Lives
£20,000 to £70,000
The Improving Lives grant programme provides grants to charitable organisations that help people when other sources of support have failed, are inappropriate, or are simply not available.
Wooden Spoon: The Children’s Charity for Rugby
Their main beneficiaries are under 25 years of age and disadvantaged by way of physical or mental disability or social deprivation – or any combination of the three. Please ensure you read the Wooden Spoon project criteria before applying.
Trusthouse Charitable Foundation Grants
£2,000 to £100,000
Trusthouse is an independent foundation which makes grants each year to charitable organisations based in, or working in, areas of extreme deprivation in the UK.
National Lottery Fund - Reaching Communities England
£10,000
Offers a larger amount of funding (over £10,000) for projects that last up to five years. We’re looking for projects that work with their community – whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.
The Princes Trust Development Award
Our Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to help you achieve your goals.
Clothworkers Foundation Open Grants Programme
The Clothworkers’ Foundation is a UK-wide funder providing capital grants to organisations improving the lives of people and communities, particularly those facing disadvantage, deprivation, and/or discrimination.
Advanced Learning Loans for Level 3 or 4 courses
£300
Apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan to help with the costs of a course at a college or training provider if you’re 24 or older. The course must be an eligible Level 3 or 4 course. Courses are paid for by a loan scheme, for which monthly re-payments are due only when you are earning over £21,000 per annum.
BBC Children in Need Project Grants
The Project Costs Funding Stream is for charities and not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 or under. Project Costs support the aims and delivery of a specific piece of work.
BBC Children in Need Core Grants Funding
Core Costs support essential organisational and administrative spending. These are the key expenses required to keep your organisation running.
London Marathon Charitable Trust - Small Capital Projects
£5,000 to £20,000
The Trust funds capital projects which provide or improve facilities for recreation or leisure in London, Surrey and Aylesbury Vale
Making a Difference Fund
up to £1,500
Homes in Sedgemoor tenants, leaseholders, resident groups, voluntary & community groups and registered charities. We welcome applications from organisations that have a particular project that is targeted towards the area that we work in.
You will need a bank account in the name of the organisation with at least two signatories. If you don’t have a bank account, we may award your grant to another organisation who agrees to hold the grant on your behalf. In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to hold the grant for you and pay expenses on receiving an invoice or receipt.
Football Foundation - Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund
£300 to £2,500
The Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund is a £14m fund that provides eligible clubs and leagues with a tapered six-year grant to help them sustain pitches already at a 'good' level and enhance pitches that are either considered 'poor' or 'basic'.
Football Foundation - Small Grants
up to £25,000
Small grants scheme offers grants of up to £25,000 for items that will help support your club from the restart and beyond. Whether you want to score your goals in style with some new goalposts or need some new maintenance machinery to keep your groundsman happy.
Cyclists Fighting Cancer
We help children and young people living with cancer across the UK regain their physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence by giving them new bikes, specially adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support.

We partner with small and local charities across England and Wales, helping people overcome complex social issues. We’re an independent charitable trust funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group.
The True Colours Trust
up to £10,000
Trustees of the Trust are committed to supporting a large number of excellent local organisations and projects that support disabled children and their families on a daily basis.
Woodward Charitable Trust
£100 to £5,000
Small grants, between £100-£5,000 (around 100 grants made per year) for social inclusion projects. Prospective applicants should be aware that less than 15% of the applications received are successful.
