On behalf of Sport England, GBA will be distributing funding to community organisations who support the following vulnerable groups to be active: Lower socio-economic groups, People with long term conditions, People with disabilities, Ethnically diverse communities
BlueSpark Foundation
£2,000 to £5,000
BlueSpark Foundation is a registered charity which supports the education and development of children and young people by providing grants for educational, cultural, sporting and other projects.
Suez Landfill Communities Fund
£1 to £50,000
SUEZ Communities Trust provides funds to not-for-profit organisations to undertake work that is eligible under the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF).
CSRT Grant
up to £1,000
The CSRT aims to improve the conditions of young people in England under the age of 21 and of all other persons by reasons of their poverty who would otherwise be unable to obtain facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupations.
North Norfolk Big Society Fund
The Big Society Fund is provided by North Norfolk District Council to help build strong communities in the district. It aims to help communities to develop new and innovative projects which will improve their social and economic wellbeing.
Country & Land Association (CLA) Charitable Trust
The CLA Charitable Trust is dedicated to helping those who are disabled or disadvantaged to visit and participate in learning experiences about the countryside.
East Midlands Netball Grant
East Midlands Netball will support their affiliated members by providing subsidies and mentoring opportunities to help develop coaches; tutors; umpires; volunteers and players across the region.
Garfield Weston Foundation Grants
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded, charitable foundation which provides grants to small community groups or to large national institutions, with the aim to support organisations that have effective solutions to helping those most in need.
Made by sport - Clubs in crisis funds
The brand new fund, supported by Cash4Clubs, will provide over £4million worth of funding to grassroots clubs and organisations.
Wakeham Trust Grant
£125 to £2,500
The Wakeham Trust generally fund projects that are small scale and would find it hard to get funding from big trusts.
In general they like to help projects that are small scale and would find it hard to get funding from big trusts. They do not respond to national appeals and we (almost) never pay for building work, vehicles, or professional salaries.
The Percy Bilton Charity Grants
up to £5,000
Only registered charities in the U.K. whose primary objectives are to assist one or more of the following groups:
Disadvantaged/underprivileged young people (under 25 years of age)
People with disabilities (physical or learning disabilities) or mental health problems
Older people (aged over 60)
Peter Harrison Foundation: Opportunities Through Sport Grants
£5,000
The foundation supports sporting activity or projects which provide opportunities for people who are disabled or otherwise disadvantaged to fulfil their potential and to develop other personal and life skills
Veolia Environmental Trust: Community Grants
£10,000 to £75,000
We fund improvements to community buildings and outside spaces which are at the heart of the community for everyone and anyone to use.
Bassetlaw District Council - Councillors' Community Grants
The aim of the Council when awarding these grants is to provide general grant support to the community that will benefit the socio-economic culture and environment of Bassetlaw.
Gedling Borough Council - Community Grant
up to £1,500
Every year Gedling Borough Council give money to support local community groups and activities.
Nottinghamshire County Councillors' Divisional Fund
up to £5,000
The Nottinghamshire County Councillors' Divisional Fund gives every County Councillor £5,000 to spend on projects, people and organisations in their areas.
Platinum Jubilee Village Halls Fund
£7,500 to £75,000
Capital grants are available for village halls in rural areas across England to enhance, upgrade, extend, improve, and construct halls so that, as a result, new activities can take place bringing communities together.
Yapp Charitable Trust
up to £3,000
Make grants for running costs and salaries to small registered charities in England and Wales to help sustain their existing work.
Biffa Award
£10,000 to £75,000
Biffa Award gives grants to community projects near landfill sites, building communities and transforming lives.
Club and Coach Education Programme 2017-2018
The programme has been established in partnership with Active 4 Today, Ashfield District Council, Bassetlaw District Council, Gedling Borough Council, Mansfield District council and Rushcliffe Borough Council who are all committed to supporting the development of the County's sports coaches and volunteers.
Active Communities
The aim is to engage with groups on a long term basis so that they will continue to enjoy the park into the future. In addition, the Authority is endeavoring to work closely with an increasing number of boroughs.
