It may be used as a diversion to antisocial behaviour or as an inspirational activity that provides an opportunity for young people to experience the wide and varied benefits of golf.

Sport England's Small Grants Programme focus is on increasing participation in sport by people aged 5+ years and above. A wide range of organisations can apply including sports clubs, local authorities and community organisations.
EMD UK Grants

The East Midlands Dance Academy offer financial support to passionate fitness teachers and instructors hoping to develop their career in the fitness industry. The Open Bursary is available to anyone wanting to take a course or continuing professional development (CPD) through one of our organisation members.
The Rowing Foundation
£500 to £3,000
The Rowing Foundation is a registered charity. Its purpose is to promote the participation in rowing of young people (those under 18 or still in full time education) and the disabled of all ages.
The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation
We are a family grant making foundation which supports charities in England and Wales working to raise the quality of life and provide greater opportunities for the young, the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged.

Henry Smith Charity - Holiday Grants

The purpose of the Holiday Grants programme is to provide access to recreational trips or holidays for groups of children who experience disadvantage or who have disabilities. In particular we are interested in contributing to trips that would not take place without our funding.

Sport England's Community Asset Fund is a programme dedicated to enhancing the spaces in your local community that give people the opportunity to be active. There are a number of things that they want to achieve with this funding, but most importantly they want to help local organisations to create quality and financially sustainable facilities that benefit their community for years to come – which may mean providing help to get things up and running too.
Local Energy Scotland: Let’s Do Net Zero Community Buildings Fund
up to £80,000
Grants of up to 80% of eligible costs up to a maximum of £80,000.
The Community Buildings Fund helps community organisations reduce their building energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by installing renewable technologies such as heat pumps, batteries, and solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, along with energy efficiency measures. We plan to run the fund until the end of March 2025, subject to funding availability.
Barchester Charity Foundation - Reconnecting Disabled people with Local Community

Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people and other adults with a disability across England, Scotland & Wales. This year our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. Applications that combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged will receive our highest priority in 2019.
Happy Days - Group Activity Holidays Fund
What a Difference a Day Makes...
Since 1992, Happy Days has been helping families and groups by organising and funding special days and holidays such as trips to the seaside, theatres, zoos, museums, outdoor activity centres, sporting events and other educational and cultural activities for UK children living with mental, physical and emotional difficulties.
Taunton Heritage Trust
We are very proud of the Trust's grant scheme. Every year over 250 grants are awarded to individuals living in Taunton Deane to enable them and their families to benefit. In addition we grant to other charities and small organisations and to students who are at school in the Deane.
