Be Active are recruiting two voluntary Board members and would love to hear from you if you believe you have the interest, commitment and motivation to support our work. This comes at an exciting time for the organisation as we work towards meeting the vision stated in our strategy ‘Moving Forwards Together’ of a happier and healthier Bedfordshire. About Voluntary Be Active Board Member
At the moment, 30% of adults in Bedfordshire are doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity per week. 57% of children and young people across Bedfordshire are doing less than the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity per day.
To help us achieve our vision of a healthier happier Bedfordshire we need Board members who share our passion and are representative of the people we are trying to reach. We are looking for individuals with the skills to help us engage communities and drive changes in policy and behaviour.
