Live Well Services, is a specialist Team which supports the residents of Leicester city to improve their health and wellbeing by offering support with smoking cessation, increasing physical activity, managing alcohol levels, healthy eating, and weight management. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Healthy Lifestyle Advisor to join our team and help clients through their journey to improve their healthy lifestyle behaviour. As a team, we work closely with clients with long term health conditions and support them in making a positive and sustained lifestyle choices

About Healthy Lifestyle Advisor
As an enthusiastic Healthy Lifestyle Advisor, you'll manage a caseload of clients and work with them to deliver a comprehensive healthy lifestyle programme through evidence based behavioural change models including, motivational interviewing, prescribed physical activity, and holistic healthy lifestyle support. In accordance with NICE guidelines you'll deliver appropriate exercise programmes within local community venues such as parks, leisure centres and community spaces as well as provide advice on variety of subjects such as healthy eating. You'll maintain accurate and efficient records of the healthy lifestyle changes of client's outcomes, which are in line with guidelines.
With previous experience of client management, you'll have knowledge of motivational techniques in the settings of physical activity and nutrition, including health and safety. You'll be qualified to Level 3 Personal Trainer, and ideally be a qualified as an Exercise Referral Instructor or be willing to undertake this training. Using excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills, you'll be able to motivate clients to improve their health and wellbeing, as well as be tactful when dealing with clients who at times may be lacking in confidence.
