'Children and Young People: Encouraging Active Lives'.
The network theme will be "How do we encourage more Young People in Berkshire to live active lives now and in the future" and will provide an opportunity to hear from experts in the field as well as national and local examples of good practice.
We are pleased to announce one of our guest speakers will be Matt Pearce, Head of Public Health & Wellbeing at West Berkshire Council, who will present a public health take on physical inactivity – "Move More and Sit Less".

This forum is following the Serious Violence Strategy announced by the Home Office in 2018. It put greater focus on steering young people away from a life of crime providing support to youth groups and early intervention and prevention with young people, while continuing to promote a strong law enforcement response.

The Berkshire Summer School Games festival was a huge success.
The event showcased an amazing array of physical activities and sport for children with diverse abilities and experience enjoying being part of a team, representing their school and district, trying something new, learning new skills with an opportunity to discover a passion for sports and physical activity.
