We're all now spending a lot more time at home than we might like, which is why staying as physically active as possible is more important than ever.
Join the Movement is our brand-new campaign, funded by The National Lottery, giving you the advice and tools you need to help you do this while the country deals with the coronavirus outbreak.
Official advice is to stay at home, and to only go outside for one form of exercise a day, to shop for basic necessities, if there's a medical reason and travelling to essential work.

Active at Home
We have created a new web page that brings together all the best advice, support and ideas. There is specific help for older people, children, families etc. There are also links to resources supporting good mental health and links to support individuals and organisations working remotely from home. Stay Connected!
GBA will be adopting actions consistent with the current national COVID-19 government guidance and the requirement to enact social distancing measures. During this period GBA will be postponing any direct activity delivery, either delivered by our own staff or by providers we have funded via our grant giving programmes; including sessions, courses, workshops, forums and conferences. We will also not be arranging any new face to face meetings but rather, wherever possible, will switch to virtual online (skype) meetings. Our own team will be mainly working remotely but will be keeping in regular video and phone contact with each other. Read More »

The winners of the 8th Get Berkshire Active Awards are announced
The annual Get Berkshire Active Awards ceremony took place on the 28th February at the Hilton Reading to celebrate sporting excellence across the County as well as applauding the unseen work that goes on behind the scenes to make sport and physical activity happen.
