The team had a brilliant time visiting one of the Cancer Support Network's GBA funded projects. Their Nordic walking group offers vital support to its members and it's easy to see why they were awarded Berkshire Physical Activity Heroes in our 10th GBA Awards.

The group were so positive and shared just how valuable this weekly walk is both socially and physically. Many reported their health had improved since walking, and having a weekly group gave them motivation, fun, friendships and is great for their mental health!
