Get Berkshire Active are involved in a numerous programmes and activities running in Berkshire and aiming to bring more families and children into sport and physical activity.

We are very grateful to our funding partners Greenham Common Trust and Berkshire Community Foundation for their support of the games in 2018.

The mission of the Berkshire School Games is:

'To inspire and enthuse young people in Berkshire through the power of sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games'

The vision for the Games is:

To deliver a sustainable educational, sporting and community 2012 legacy across Berkshire

These events are standalone events run during the school day- typically for an afternoon or morning.

Building Family Bridges

What is Building Family Bridges?

Building Family Bridges has the family at the centre. It is about changing the way families are supported towards a holistic and empowering model which recognises the complexities of family situations and does not impose a predetermined pathway or long-term goals for participants.

Family Activity Day in Slough, 07 August 2019:

'We really enjoyed yesterday, I also participated in the activities. My daughter was scared at first but at the end she didn't want to stop! I was very happy she managed to do it'
