At Get Berkshire Active we are committed to supporting the diverse workforce of Berkshire to champion "good coaching" and to provide high quality opportunities for all people to take part in sport and physical activity.
Get Berkshire Active invites all coaches, activators, and individuals who directly support sport and physical activity in Berkshire to join the Team Berkshire community.
Team Berkshire is all about offering the support, expertise and services which may normally be beyond reach. Members will have access to a network of expert knowledge, guidance and assistance in delivering quality sessions, gaining funding and an array of discounted services.
No prior qualifications are needed and we welcome people with any level of experience.
There are two ways you can get involved in Team Berkshire before the launch:
Be included in the Team Berkshire launch video!
We are creating a video to launch our Team Berkshire programme and we would like YOU to be included!
We are hoping to make a compilation video that represents all people who support our diverse sport and physical activity sector in Berkshire, including physical activity providers, leisure centres, young leaders, coaches, instructors, parents and volunteers.
Please send us one or two short videos (3 - 8 seconds) that could be of you or someone else leading a coaching session, preparing for a face-to-face or online class, teaching or mentoring others etc. We want to celebrate what YOU do to support others in sport and physical activity!
Don't forget to get permissions of anyone included in the video clip!
We'd love to hear from you - izzy.heath@getberkshireactive.org
