An Overview of Snowboard Racing

Snowboard racing is a form of snowboarding where competitors race down a course. It can be done against the clock, or by two or more competitors racing in a head-to-head format. Most forms of snowboard racing use slaloming courses where riders are timed as they individually race through gates at high speeds or at tight angles with the fastest time winning. Whereas snowboard cross is where four riders simultaneously begin the race at the top of an inclined course and it is a race to reach the finish line first.
