Between April and November over four thousand people enjoyed online dance and Zumba classes delivered by Anisha. People of all ages and backgrounds were reached including those with disabilities, long-term health conditions, and mental health issues. These have covered a wide spectrum including cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, osteoporosis, anxiety and OCD.
Anisha partnered with Kingston Mind, Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum, and the MS Society. Participants reported improved physical wellbeing, reduced feelings of isolation, and a reduction in anxiety. Anisha promoted positive health and mental wellbeing on TV, radio, and blogs including: 'Humans of Hiit'; Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch'; 'We Are Undefeatable' Instagram takeover; and Sport England 'Join the Movement'.
For Mental Health Awareness week, Anisha shared how she stays active while living with ulcerative colitis, PTSD, depression, anxiety and the physical effects of a high-speed car accident. Her success was achieved whilst working full-time in the NHS, managing her own health issues, and navigating the pandemic whilst shielding.
