The uSports team continued to grow sporting opportunities for young people. Thanks to Charlie Hiscox, virtual live PE lessons via Facebook and YouTube were open to all. Group Zoom sessions were a bit hit with the Thumbs Up Club, a local charity supporting children with SEN.
Tailored lessons for local schools provided sport for the children of key workers. Special safety measures, including 'Coaching During Covid' training, reassured schools.
A covid-secure camp provided in-person activities for 45 children a day through the summer holidays. All these activities boosted the confidence, connection, and mental health of coaches, teachers and children.
